‘The hands are the sculptor’s eyes; but they are also organs for thought’ – Heidegger
Max’s work feels its way through the haptic indexicality of analogue photography, while visiting a nostalgic avenue of his childhood. A passion for the intricacies and textures of photography, and woodwork. From a young age, he and his father created an escape from the bland, black and white school curriculum inside the stimulating textured walls of ‘the workshop’.
